It's knit as a tube, so there are no side seams to twist out of line after a few washes. Ribbed collar, taped shoulder to shoulder, so the neck keeps its shape instead of going wavy on you. The label tears away. Nothing scratching between your shoulder blades on a long drive.

It gets softer every wash.
